One Thousand Stars
A personal blog site featuring photo and video uploads and blogging with graphic design and custom theming by Marmaladesoul.
One thousand stars was created to record the journey of two travellers who were going on a round the world trip for roughly a year. The look and feel of the site captured the essence of adventure as well as tying in with the theme of stars. Once home, this blog served to continue to record their adventures as they began a new family.
The major priority was the need to create a "space" that allowed family and friends to feel part of the journey. Blogging, photo galleries and video capabilities are the main essence of the site. A later request was to have users sign up to access the content.
UltraWellness
An online community of over 24,000 members focused around a series of health tracking programs. Custom module and theme development to clients specifications.
The UltraWellness website, based on the UltraMetabolism best-seller by Dr. Marc Hyman, provides online tools to support all of the Health programs covered in this and subsequent books.
We have worked closely with the client, implementing their design as well as making complimentary graphics that would fit the desired look and feel. This site features multiple health programs, online health trackers, user blogs, custom modules and specific adaptions to Drupal in order to make it work as specifically requested by the client.
Inside Hockey
A news site about ice-hockey with multiple columnists contributing news and blog articles catergorised under players and teams.
Inside Hockey captures the attention of Ice-hockey fans everywhere. The clients needs were to be able to share the news from the Ice-Hockey world in one central location with multiple contributors. We implemented a system where he could quickly and easily published content from a diverse number of authors and to manage and publish the workflow of that contributed content.
We also enabled the ability to cateogorise and display that content across teams or players on the relevant pages. We worked alongside the client to build a custom theme to client's design.
